Dana VanPell

Mrs. Dana has been teaching dance for over 20 years. At the age of 16, Ms. Dana was a principal dancer for the New Jersey Tap Ensemble. She studied at the Mercer County College for Dance, majoring in modern dance and ballet. Ms. Dana was trained in tap by many legends including Gregory Hines, Savion Glover, Deborah Mitchell and Karen Callaway. She has been directing ASIT for the past 17 years. Ms. Dana has trained many students from the ages of 3 until their senior year of high school. Some of these students have continued their passion for dancing by becoming professional dancers or owning studios themselves. She loves working with children of all ages and looks forward to many more exciting years with her studio.

Patti Crumrine

Ms Patti has trained in various classical and street styles of dance. She graduated from The University of Arts with a certificate of dance in 2014. She has choreographed for multiple venues in New York City, such as, Fashion in Motion by Trunk under the mentorship of Wes Veldink, The Young Choreographer's Festival 2016, Peridance Showcases, Leg Up On Life, Wise Fruit, Ballet Inc and Sybarite Showcases. Patti is currently a company member of The SHINSA Collective, under Bo Park. She was also a featured dancer in New Balance’s Catalog Launch event and danced in American Idol contestant, JAX's music video. She is very excited to be teaching at A Step In Time Dance Studio.

Tabitha Edwards

Tabitha Edwards fell in love with dance at the age of four, and has been dancing ever since. Trained in many different styles, Tabitha enjoys sharing her love of dance through teaching. Tabitha has an Associate’s degree in LA-Dance from MCC. She has performed with, and choreographed for, the Middlesex County College Dance Ensemble, as well as local companies: Artistic Visions Dance Company, Main Street Theatre Company, and the Rahway Arts and Business Partnership. She has performed at Highland Park's Arts in the Park, the Koresh Showcase in Philadelphia, Dance NJ’s Show Up and Dance, and at OSPAC for the FreeSpace Summer Season Performance.
